WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN!!!
I am sure many do not think of the day He will return to earth. AT least not often. And He will come again! Just as He told His apostles, and the early Christians, that day will come. (Acts 1:11). In the same way He went up into heaven, He will return. So, what should we have on our minds, as His people today, going about our daily lives, day by day? Maybe we should spend a bit of time in prayer, and meditation about "that day". It could be today, or tomorrow. Only the Father in heaven knows. (Matthew 24:36)
"For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN RECOMPENSE EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS." (Matthew 16:27)
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment; so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him SHALL HE APPEAR THE SECOND TIME without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:27-28)
Scriptures such as First Thessalonians one, verses seven through 10, reveal to us how those who choose to not obey His Gospel will be lost. Time will run out on that day, thus the urgency for us to always be ready, and consider our condition before God. Have you obeyed the Gospel of our Lord, and have you remained faithful until now? Questions all of us need to consider, not only today, but every day. The day of salvation is now!!
A few things revealed to us we need to think about. HE WILL COME AGAIN!! The DAY OF HIS COMING IS UNKNOWN!! HIS PROMISE TO SAVE THE FAITHFUL AND JUDGE THE UNFAITHFUL WILL BE ON THAT DAY!! IT WILL BE A DAY OF JUDGEMENT, JESUS BEING THE RIGHTOUS JUDGE!! IT WILL BE A DAY OF RESURRECTION OF ALL THE DEAD!! A DAY OF SALVATION FOR THE SAVED, AND A DAY OF CONDEMNATION FOR THE LOST!!
All these things will take place, as Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, died and was resurrected from the dead so we can look forward to the day of His second coming. Are you and I ready for that day ?? Serious thought, we need to consider daily.
